GTM Project Specialist - Cloud Marketplaces

Location: London (hybrid 1 day per week in office, typically Thursdays)

Global scope - standard 35 hour week, with flexibility required for occasional evening calls (e.g. 6-7pm with the US)

Role Overview

Due to rapid growth and a surging volume of deals across our Cloud Marketplaces programme, our client's global tech client is expanding its team. Seeking a GTM Project Specialist to join the Marketplace Consulting team as a crucial operational bridge between Sales Managers and backend operational teams. While this is a non-technical position, success relies on exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to seamlessly assist with the structure and execute marketplace deals across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Deal Execution

• Act as the operational bridge between Partner Sales Managers, Account Teams and backend operational functions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance and Order Management to evaluate, structure and approve complex marketplace deals.
• Ensure all transactions align with company governance, customer requirements and Cloud Partner specifications.
• Monitor deal submissions, maintain CRM data hygiene (Salesforce) and ensure smooth execution through to final approval.
• Oversee the lifecycle of Cloud Marketplace private offers, from issuance to tracking contract end dates.

Project & Programme Support

• Coordinate cross-functional GTM project plans, tracking deliverables and resolving process blockers to keep deal flow moving efficiently.
• Draft and distribute regular internal updates, including deal status reports, win stories and sales enablement resources.
• Manage communications with external vendors for presentation collateral and sales decks.

What We're Looking For:

• Meticulous Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for the tiny operational details that ensure deals are compliant and structured correctly.
• Exceptional Stakeholder & People Skills: A proven track record of building trusted relationships across sales, finance, legal and operational teams.
• Core Operations Experience: Experience sitting in an operational, sales enablement, project coordination or deal desk support role.
• Non-Technical Focus: You do not need a technical background, but you should be comfortable working with business tools and CRM workflows.

Nice-to-Have

• Prior exposure to Cloud Marketplaces (e.g. AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace) or general digital marketplace operations.

Technical & System Skills

• CRM Systems: Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce or similar enterprise CRMs.
• Reporting Tools: Working knowledge of Excel (basic formulas, data entry and report maintenance) and exposure to Power BI dashboards.

Working Pattern & Benefits:

• Hybrid model based out of London. In-office presence is required 1 day per week (typically Thursdays) when the broader team is in together.
• 35 hours per week. As this role supports EMEA and US stakeholders, you must be able to offer flexible availability for occasional late afternoon/evening calls.
