Job Description:

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a .NET Developer for a contract based in Vancouver.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Software Developer to join a Real-Time Information System (RTIS) product team. This team is responsible for improving the accuracy, performance, and reliability of real-time vehicle positioning and arrival prediction systems .

Working within an Agile product team, you'll design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native applications and Azure infrastructure while contributing to a high-impact, customer-facing platform.

Top 3 Skills
  • 3+ years of C# / .NET development
  • Azure cloud development (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform)
  • API, microservices, and containerized application development (Docker/Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications and APIs.
  • Build and maintain Azure App Services, Function Apps, SQL databases, and private endpoints.
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Integrate applications with CMS platforms, identity services (Azure Entra ID), and third-party systems.
  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design.
  • Implement application monitoring using Azure Application Insights and related tools.
  • Produce technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer activities.
Required Experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience provisioning Azure resources using Terraform.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Additional Information
  • Full-time contract (37.5 hours/week)
  • Hybrid work model with approximately 40% onsite presence required.
