Davies North America is looking for a TPA Adjuster to work efficiently and effectively to resolve commercial transportation claims. Reporting to the TPA Supervisor, you will handle first party property damage, heavy equipment, and cargo damage claims on a multi-state basis. To be successful in this role, you need to possess superior time management skills with the capability of working with and meeting deadlines, be an excellent team player with interpersonal skills, and exhibit the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You must have at least 3 years of experience handling commercial transportation and/or auto liability claims. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate high level attention to detail and problem-solving skills while working in a professional home-based environment free from distractions and/or disturbances. This role is a full-time, home-based position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Analyze and apply coverage on routine and complex claims
• Adjudicate claims in an expeditious and professional manner
• Set and maintain diaries and/or tasks
• Complete client reporting in a timely manner
• Control loss adjustment expenses as well as recommend and manage reserves
• Document all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions in the claims management system
• Complete multi-page reports for each claim

Skills, knowledge & expertise

• 3+ years of experience handling commercial transportation and/or auto liability claims
• Must hold an active Texas All Lines Adjuster License or hold a reciprocal state's Adjuster License with the ability to obtain a Texas All Lines Adjuster License in a timely manner
• Exhibit an exceptional capability of reviewing and applying policy coverages
• High level attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Capable of working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
• Superb communication skills, verbal and written, conducted in a timely manner
• Capability to multi-task and prioritize with excellent organization and documentation skills in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Demonstrate excellent grammatical and typing skills with a strong ability to properly draft reports and letters in a professional manner
• Previous experience handling cargo or tractor trailer claims
