You'll be collaborating with ambitious colleagues from around the world. We have offices in Dublin, London, New York, Charlotte, Berlin and Sydney.

The challenge

Wayflyer's growth depends on knowing exactly who we can fund and how much risk that carries. This role exists to dig into the data behind every customer, business and financial, and turn it into decisions that let us fund eCommerce growth responsibly.

What you'll actually do

• Discover the story behind the data - analyse financial and non-financial data on new and existing customers to understand how their business really works
• Assess and quantify risk - learn to evaluate the challenges of running an eCommerce business and how Wayflyer can fund that growth responsibly
• Connect with customers directly - join regular calls to deepen our understanding of their business models, funding needs, and future plans
• Collaborate with management to build and implement new processes and products
• Support sales and operations by understanding how they win and manage customer relationships
• Learn our existing loan portfolio and portfolio management tools, including when to exit risky relationships
• Collaborate across Wayflyer - partner with teams across the business to connect dots, share insights, and drive impact

What this role could turn into

This is a launchpad, not a lane. Past analysts in this seat have moved into Senior Credit Risk Analyst roles, crossed into Portfolio Management, and built careers in Commercial or Strategic Finance as Wayflyer's risk function has scaled.

We hire for range

You don't need years of experience, you need trajectory. A strong academic record in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law or Computer Science (completed or near completion) is your starting point. From there, what matters is how quickly you pick things up: comfort with financial reporting, an instinct for data (Excel or SQL is a plus), and momentum toward a professional finance or accounting qualification if that's your path.

Location and working policy

Based in our Charlotte HQ. Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite to start, transitioning to a more flexible remote role over time.
