Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Director of Product Management will define and execute product roadmaps aligned with market needs, technology trends, customer requirements, and company objectives. This individual will leverage deep semiconductor industry expertise to identify growth opportunities, prioritize investments, and ensure the successful commercialization of innovative products that address critical manufacturing challenges for leading semiconductor manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall product strategy, product portfolio, and long-term roadmap for semiconductor capital equipment solutions.
- Define and execute product plans including market requirements, product positioning, feature prioritization, pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Partner closely with engineering, applications, technology development, and operations teams to drive product development priorities and execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the complete product lifecycle management process, from concept through commercialization, deployment, and end-of-life planning.
- Conduct market research and voice-of-customer activities to identify emerging customer requirements, technology inflections, and competitive threats.
- Participate in executive-level customer meetings, technology reviews, roadmap discussions, and strategic account planning activities.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical customer issues, product performance concerns, and strategic account challenges.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, revenue performance, and competitive intelligence to refine product strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on product messaging, value propositions, launch plans, and demand generation activities.
- Support customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, technology benchmarking, and product acceptance activities.
- Monitor business performance metrics including revenue, margins, market share, customer satisfaction, and product adoption.
- Present product strategy, portfolio performance, and market opportunities to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of Product Management experience within the semiconductor equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, process control, metrology, inspection, test, packaging, or related high-technology industries.
- Must be able to travel internationally to customer sites at least 20% of the time, with additional travel as business needs require.
OR
- 10+ years of leadership experience in engineering management, product marketing, applications engineering, technology development, semiconductor manufacturing, or related technical leadership roles.
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a technical field and/or MBA.
- Experience working with semiconductor capital equipment, wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, process control, metrology, inspection, lithography, yield management, or process optimization technologies.
- Demonstrated success managing product portfolios with multimillion-dollar revenue responsibility.
- Experience leading cross-functional global teams and influencing without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technology nodes.
- Familiarity with foundry, logic, memory, advanced packaging, and heterogeneous integration markets.
- Experience developing business cases, market models, product roadmaps, and financial forecasts.
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to engage senior technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic planning, product commercialization, and market development expertise.

Compensation & Growth
• Base Salary Range:
$158,400.00 - $237,600.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
