Reporting to the Head of Corporate Project Finance and Head of Real Estate, and working closely with the Corporate Banking teams, your primary responsibilities are to assist in preparation of financial spreadsheets and analyse financial accounts, preparation of credit reviews and requests, internal reporting, and conducting KYC/AML checks on the Bank’s portfolio of corporate borrowers.

Specifically, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Financial Analyses: Analyse financial accounts and financial performance of borrowers across a diverse set of industries.
  2. Cash Flow Modelling: Perform cash flow analyses using Excel and other internal platforms.
  3. Credit Review: Undertake credit review of the accounts across a diverse set of industries in a timely manner.
  4. Portfolio Management: Help maintain and monitor the quality of the portfolio and ensure adherence to the Bank's credit policies for both existing and new customers, in cooperation with the relevant departments of the Bank.
  5. Day to Day Management: Optimise delivery to customers and internally on operational matters. Assist in the day-to-day administration of the loan portfolio, including monitoring of loan covenants, etc.
  6. Internal Reporting: Perform industry analyses, market reviews and portfolio related reporting as required by the Bank.
  7. Data: Ensure data integrity of all loan data in the portfolio
  8. KYC/AML: Perform AML checks for new and existing clients as required by the Bank and regulators.
  9. Team Contribution: Participate and contribute to improving the team's overall net contribution to the Bank and promote the Bank’s core values.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting and/or finance;
  2. Proven understanding of accounting principles;
  3. Advanced Excel, spreadsheet and financial modeling skills;
  4. Strong written and oral communication skills;
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills; and,
  6. Ability to work in a team environment and display strong partnership behaviour.

You will also need to hold an Australian Permanent Resident Visa to apply for this job.

Market based remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on qualifications, expertise and experience.
