With sustainability becoming an increasingly important strategic priority, the bank is investing in ESG governance, climate-related initiatives, carbon management and sustainability reporting capabilities.

Your new role

• Support the implementation of the Bank's sustainability and ESG programmes
• Coordinate ESG data collection, validation and reporting processes across business units
• Conduct Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 carbon emissions calculations and greenhouse gas inventory assessments
• Analyse sustainability data and produce management reports, dashboards and key performance metrics
• Assist in climate risk assessments, decarbonisation initiatives and net-zero projects
• Support compliance with sustainability reporting and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance ESG governance and data quality
• Monitor sustainability regulations, disclosure standards and market developments
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors and assurance providers on ESG-related projects
• Prepare reports and presentation materials for management and governance committees

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Business, Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management or climate-related functions
• Strong understanding of carbon accounting methodologies and greenhouse gas emissions calculations
• Hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures and ESG data management
• Experience using data analytics tools, reporting systems and dashboard platforms
• Knowledge of ISSB, TCFD, GRI, PCAF or related sustainability frameworks would be advantageous
• Background within banking, financial services, consulting or large corporates is preferred
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in English and Chinese
