Famous 23-year-old finance professional seeks wife
It's been three months and Demarre Johnson is still famous. In early March, he appeared in the infamous photoshoot, 'Meet the finest boys in finance', where he declared that he owned six vests and spent 55 hours a week working for PWC helping clients implement AI. One week later, it became apparent that Johnson wasn't actually working for PWC anymore, but he has not let that stop him.

"I left PWC prior to the photoshoot," he tells us. "I left in February. I am working full time for a hedge fund." He does not say which hedge fund.
Johnson says PWC was cool with him appearing in the photoshoot and that his departure was unrelated. "I think corporate is going out of style," he says. "It's good for learning things but you don't want to get pigeon holed."
The photoshoot went viral and Johnson became sort of famous. "I blame social media," he declares. "I became a name," he adds. "Random finance bros would stop me in the street, guys with Patagonia vests and duffel bags. I couldn't go anywhere without being stopped."
This sounds annoying, but Johnson is not perturbed. Johnson grew up in Dallas and he wants to convert his newfound fame into a career as a finance influencer for people with his background. He already features in adverts for a wealth management app. He has an agent. "I was on the winning end of the stick."
However, he's had to close his DMs. "I've been letting the dust settle," he says. "There was a girl in my DMs who was like 'Are you looking for a finance girl?'" That particular girl only wanted someone with the "right assets," but Johnson remains hopeful. "Hopefully I will find my wife from this," he tells us.
