Prior to founding Situtational Awareness, Leopold Aschenbrenner was most well-known for working at OpenAI, where he formed the thesis for his paper from which Situational Awareness got its name. You might not also know that he worked at FTX, the crypto firm of disgraced billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried.
