A multinational hospitality and services company with a strong global presence is seeking an AP Accountant for a mid-term project within its Japan finance team.
The Role
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices in line with internal controls
- Handle vendor inquiries and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and AP reconciliations
- Assist in process improvements and system optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with regional finance teams in a multinational environment
Your Skills
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable within multinational or service-oriented organizations
- Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and financial operations
- Experience handling high-volume transactions is preferred
- Business-level English required; Japanese preferred for local communication
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is advantageous
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
