A leading global sports marketing and media company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its growing Japan business. The company partners with some of the world's most recognized sports leagues, events, and brands, delivering media rights management, event operations, content distribution, and commercial partnership solutions on a global scale.

The Role

• Reporting to the Finance leadership team, this role will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and finance activities for the Japan business. Responsibilities include month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting under US GAAP, tax compliance, AP/AR management, cash flow forecasting, and business partnering with operational stakeholders.
• You will work closely with regional shared service teams and support finance activities related to media rights, events management, and corporate operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional seeking exposure to a dynamic international business environment.

Your Skills

• 3+ years of accounting, finance, FP&A, or related experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience within multinational companies is preferred
• Knowledge of month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and tax processes
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, etc.) is advantageous
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with regional stakeholders
